Education continues to be a high priority at both of our centres. Educational establishments, including primary and secondary schools, colleges and other institutions, can study eagles, owls, hawks, buzzards and falcons at close quarters. Primary school visits can be tailored to fit with the National Curriculum - a very worthwhile outing.
Flight, breeding and conservation are popular subject matters which can be studied in more depth. Detailed information on a wide variety of bird types can be obtained together with colour photographs, records, histories, preferences, etc.
Our experienced falconers can provide an insight into the working practices of falconry together with displays and hands-on experience.
We are delighted to discuss individual requirements and can travel to schools, etc, when required, if a visit to either one of our centres
is neither possible or convenient. Our centres are ideally located for travelling to schools in the Borders, Northern England and the Lothians.

For enthusiasts who are looking for a different holiday or short break, we are able to offer several packages to suit all tastes. Based on our experience of offering training courses to overseas visitors, we are extending this facility for those who already have some falconry experience and wish to take a leisure break. We are able to recommend accommodation at both our Jedforest and Dalhousie locations, all suitable for either a short weekend break or a longer stay.
Participants may elect for a week long basic course, a weekend refresher or initial instruction or perhaps a whole week hunting!
Perhaps you are a falconer from the United States and want to spent a week hawking in the Scottish countryside; We will supply the necessary equipment and the hawk, together with one of our experienced falconers for the duration of your visit. An increasing part of our business is catering for corporate events. We have a product that can last from as little as 30 minutes for a short interlude in a busy days' schedule, all the way to a full corporate entertainment package. So, whether you are a client company, hotel or other conference venue, we can provide a unique experience for a half-day, full day or weekend. Alternatively, just relax for a while and watch as we do all the work during a falconry demonstration!
Everything is laid on: transport, training, the birds, ferrets, etc, and refreshments. Each corporate experience is tailored to your needs. Nothing is too much trouble. We already provide successful displays for a number of corporate clients including Historic Scotland.
In fact if you have an idea - a birthday party surprise, a wedding ceremony, a public event such as a theatre production, an open day or
an historic display, whatever your idea, get in contact to discuss it with us. Novelty is our speciality! We will make sure that you
are satisfied.
