The experience begins with a short discussion on the history of falconry exploring what birds are used in falconry and why they are used. You will then be introduced to our exceptional birds of prey collection and see for yourself the power that these birds have at close quarters.
You will be fully briefed on what the birds will be expecting from you and how to handle them on the glove so no previous experience is necessary. This is a great introduction for someone who perhaps wishes to pursue falconry further.
After these briefing sessions you will then handle and fly various species of birds of prey including a hawk, an owl and a buzzard. One of our experienced falconers will then demonstrate the breath taking agility and speed of a falcon, a bird that requires a lot of experience on the falconers part.
This is a hands on experience, where all equipment and training is provided and handling is done under supervision from our professional falconers.
We are confident that your Ultimate Experience may wet your appetite for falconry and may wish to pursue it further. If this is the case we can provide you with friendly professional tutoring, guidance and advice. Please feel free to telephone to discuss your needs.
Ultimate Experiences are available on a pre-booked basis only, last 2 hours 30 minutes.
